Bill Perkins built this hut for Dr Searle in 1938, at the
time Bill was living at "Melody Mansion" and worked on the CRB as a
patrolman. Dr Searle was a regular visitor to the district, and offered
medical services to locals during his stay. He passed away in 1973 |
