2010 Annual General Meeting

The AGM was held at the Priory in Beechworth on 24th October and a new committee was elected. Presentations were given by Ross Grant -the acting chief ranger for the Alps on plans and challenges for the year ahead and by Graham Gales on the rebuilding of Weston's hut.

Dinner Plains hut

Victorian High Country Huts Association supports design and build of the new Dinner Plains Hut. This new hut is now a community facility. The Dinner Plains Shire has provided a generous donation to the Association.

New trailer

The dinner plains donation has bee allocated to the purchase of a tradesman trailer for use by HMOs for hut maintenance and repairs and other Association activities. This new trailer is in addition to the Mountain Cattleman's Association trailer that the Association has been most gratefully using to date. This will give greater flexibility in managing HMO activities.
